My Students
My first-grade students have been placed in a Gifted and Talented classroom setting. They come from a variety of backgrounds. Our school has great diversity in many areas. I am teaching math and science this year. We work at a faster pace than the traditional first-grade classes. Our students come to school both virtually and in-person each day eager to learn new things. They desire to build relationships with their teachers and peers. They are a fun and energetic group of children that are always ready to take on any new challenge.
My Project
During this year we are learning how to do our job digitally, remotely and in new ways. We have learned a lot this year and need to make it through the spring time slump. The more access we have to engaging digital resources the more successful end of the year we will have.
Students need to feel engaged and challenged during the spring time to keep them motivated.
