Increase English Language Proficiency Through Cooperative Learning

My Project

My students are from all over the world. Some have experienced trauma that no should ever witness. Despite their background, they come to school thankful to be safe and grateful for the opportunity to learn.

These students are faced with learning not only a new language and educational standards, but also a new culture with its own unique customs.

By using games and manipulatives, I can reach my students in a fun and meaningful way. They will learn cooperation and teamwork. This lowers their affective filter and increases their learning ability.
