My Project
Right now my students walk into therapy sessions and their eyes (and hands) immediately gravitate to any piece of technology I may have insight into. They are then disappointed when they are not able to use my laptop or phone for the intended therapy activities.
I want to give my students with special needs access to the technology they crave.
I want them to enjoy speech and language sessions, be engaged, and have fun all while their specific goals are being targeted and their needs are being met.
Giving my students access to iPads during our time together would do just that. The ability to use technology during our time together will undoubtedly increase their engagement. Increased engagement leads to productive and meaningful therapy.
