This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have overcome hardships and adversity throughout their lives. We have a high percentage of students that live at or below the poverty line. This does not define our students, instead our students are resilient. Our students work hard to excel in the classroom and in athletics. They also maintain jobs to help contribute to their household income. Most will be the first person in their family to graduate from high school. Athletics keeps many of our students in school, keep their grades up, helps them to graduate, and encourages them to go out and make a positive impact in the world!

My Project

This athletic equipment will help our athletes become faster, stronger and more explosive. We will use this equipment in summer strength and conditioning camp as well as year round in each sports off-season. This will help every athlete become the best version of themselves.

We strive to make better athletes and better people.

It is our goal to not only help our athletes on the field but more importantly, off the field and in life. This is part of developing the whole child and doing our part to create positive and productive individuals that will go out and make a lasting impact on the world.
