My Project

This project is to incorporate more reading in my K-2 Special Education classroom. With the book nook area and flexible seating, it will encourage students to want to sit in this area and look through picture books. Many of my students do not enjoy reading, but when it is presented in a fun manner, they will attempt to read the books and enjoy the space that they are in.

The goal is to have students want to read rather than feel that it is a chore.

This area will allow me to help achieve my goal.
