My Project
This project is designed to help supply students with free resources for their 9th grade Conceptual Physics class. Our students are dedicated, focused, and highly engaged, and this project would allow them to use classroom resources for note taking and journals with school-provided materials. Due to economics concerns, many families struggle to provide these resources and thus supplying all students with them removes any barrier.
The students could take their pick of great journals, pens, and resources that allow them to really expand their learning via taking great notes -- a skill we prepare them for due to the rigorous nature of the college curriculum our school offers.
Student journaling via hand has been affirmed by studies to support learning and reinforce key topics. Via developing great journal habits, the students will have the chance to solidify their learning and review their notes at home. This really helps class engagement as students are able to engage in the topics with a reflective nature. The variety of materials really allows for student personality and creativity to shine through in a host of ways!
