My Project

Everyone remembers the first book that they were able to recognize themselves within the pages. With a very diverse student population, my students deserve to feel represented in the texts that they read. Currently, my classroom library is full of books from when I was a child, as well as many that I have spent my own money on. Donating to this project will allow my students to read books that have main characters that look like them. This will also give my students opportunities to read new and exciting books for their independent novel studies. With your support I can go the extra mile with making my students feel welcome in ELA class. Thanks!
