Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me give my students STEAM and art supplies that will allow all of my amazing learners to create. Buddha boards allow all students to make their mark using a paintbrush and water. Kinetic sand encourages all students to create sculptures in three dimensions. Sensory-friendly building toys like magnet tiles and bristle blocks are another way for my students to build in three-dimensions. Dot-a-dot markers make bold, colorful marks regardless of fine motor skills or muscle tone. I love all of these supplies for my students because they make creating accessible for each and every one of the kids who enter my art room.

I aim for radical inclusivity, where all students regardless of ability level or exceptionality are able to follow their own creative path.

My classroom is diverse in many ways. Some of my very special students have Autism and other exceptionalities that make alternative art materials more accessible for them. The supplies I am requesting in this project are meant to enrich the learning of these students in particular, but can also benefit ALL of my students.
