This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our special education students have been practicing their life skills while learning to socialize with peers their own age. The resources gained from this project will help many students learn how to cook on a flat top grill with food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs quesadillas, tacos, and more! Food and cooking connect all humans together and the conversations that will take place over a meal cooked with love can truly impact a student's life. With your help, you will give our school a new BBQ area that will be used to help the special education community grow!
