I teach a wonderful at risk inclusion pre-kindergarten class with a high population of English second language students.
For this school year eight of my students are English second language, with most beginning the year with no expressive or receptive language; two are served under the category of exceptional children and four are qualified as at risk for falling behind their peers.
I need hands-on, fun activities for small and large group lessons to promote increased vocabulary and pre-academic skills.
Your assistance will make it possible for my students to be provided with an opportunity to increase their skills, be better prepared for Kindergarten and to begin Kindergarten on the same track as peers instead of below the average peer.
