Do you remember how difficult it was to speak in a foreign language? My students are eager to learn but afraid to participate in speaking sections because it is difficult to speak in a different language.
I have 200 wonderful students who attend an inner-city high school.
They are all required to take a foreign language in order to prepare them for college. Although my students may not financially have all the resources, they are very smart individuals with a bright future.
My Project
My students feel uncomfortable speaking a foreign language because it is something that is new to them. This candy serves as an aid to help loosen my students up and make them more eager to participate. By speaking more in class, my students will go on to college knowing a second language. This candy will be very beneficial to my classroom.
Although learning a foreign language is hard, I believe my students can succeed in high school and in college.
This will help them increase their vocabulary and speaking skills. It will also increase their confidence because they will see the growth they are making. I know that once people start participating, they will see incredible growth.
