My Project

Middle school aged students are motivated by many things. However, I have found snacks can be the best motivator for my students, and am requesting some in this project. I have created an 80+ club in my classroom.

Students scoring 80% or higher on their assessments receive a prize!

I have noticed an increase in engagement and students' motivation to keep trying. Usually when a student receive a low score on an assessment, they shut down and give up. However, since I have implemented the 80+ club, after their first attempt, they get a second chance to improve their score. Once they achieve an 80% or higher, they get a prize. Students are asking more questions and wanting extra help.
