Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are full of energy and curiosity! They are five and six-year-olds who come to school excited to learn. I try to make learning fun and engaging as they learn through play. For some of my students, kindergarten is their first school experience which means that they come with different skills and abilities.
I believe that every child can learn at their own developmental pace.
My goal as their teacher is to provide engaging and challenging learning experiences in a positive and safe environment.
My Project
I have students who do not know how to hold a pencil. The pencil grips will help them place their fingers properly. These are soft and squishy for a comfortable grip. They will help reduce muscle strain while ensuring a comfortable writing.
I'm also requesting incentives to encourage and reward students for their hard work.
The treasure chest includes a wide assortment of toys and prizes. My students will receive incentives for putting effort in their classwork, completed assignments, and for showing kindness. They will be motivated during these challenging times.
