My kiddos are one of a kind! I like to think that my classroom is one of a kind as well! We are a school of 600 kids in a rural area in Wisconsin and 18 of those kids get to spend their days with me. My students are the reason I wake up in the morning to go to work and the reason I stay up late at night trying to find the next "big" thing. My job is to help them have positive learning experiences. I love the expressions on their faces when they learn something new! I look forward to working with my little students every day and hopefully helping them become little men and women that will make a positive impact on our world.
My Project
The best part of being a teacher is finding ways to engage my students. We are going to use our money and financial literacy skills to buy water bottles and stickers. They will learn about saving and spending money and getting a cool water bottle that they get to decorate with fun stickers. In addition, we are going to do a nonfiction text feature surgery and we need band-aids. Finally, we are going to end our year with a party and to help our class make a little extra noise, we are going to need some clappers!
