My Project

I have a ticket system in my classroom where students earn or lose tickets based upon their choices. This creates a real-world "money" system. The students are "paid" for positive behavior and achieving goals. These gift cards will be "high-ticket" items that students can save up their tickets to purchase. I have used these as an incentive in the past and it is a real motivator for students. Students really love to be rewarded for positive behavior and this is one way that has been successful for my first graders.
