This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of my students are newcomers and are learning English. They come from many countries all around the world, and most of them are refugees. There is a lot of drama in their lives already. Some of them have been drawing pictures using black color only. They need to add color to make their dreams come true in colors to inspire them with better ideas and dreams. Writing is the hardest part for them. We never get to have colorful printouts. A color printer will be very beneficial for my students to see what they publish and write in English to support their learning on a daily basis in colorful prints.
