Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are beginning a new curriculum this year which is technology heavy. I am looking to add materials, supplies and furniture that will make the space feel more like a traditional classroom now that the majority of the learning materials will be electronic. I would love to keep the joy of a normal classroom alive and well in the fast growing technological world.

Different supplies will aid different needs and personalities such as independent workers, those who enjoy group work amd those who may need a little more support with organization such as organizers, pocket charts, and seat back pockets.

Seating flexibility with access to tangible supplies to encourage students to perform math on paper is the goal. I want my students to be able to focus on their work and not worry about where they will have to get supplies from. I want to provide them with the materials they will need for collaborative work such as chart paper, markers and a way to showcase it whether it pinned on bulletin boards or store in their own portoflio.

I am hoping to have something for everyone!
