My Students

"I'm finished. What can I do next?" These words are a common lament heard from our students when done with an assignment. Our students come from an upper middle class community and have enjoyed many experiences in their young lives. Our classes contain a variety of learners from gifted and talented to underachievers and learning challenged.

We are looking for ways to fully engage all of our students to prevent boredom and to provide an avenue to express their individuality and creativity.

My Project

Our community, Kingwood Texas , was severely affected by Hurricane Harvey. Even though our school was not damaged many of our families have suffered and are trying to mend. School provides a place of normalcy.

We are currently using technology in our classes, but our classrooms are in need of additional devices to provide opportunities for more students.

We are in need of more chromebooks.

We hope to allow for student choice in project based learning. Technology allows for exploration of a variety of applications to express their knowledge, and the production of individual and team projects.

Our students future depends on their competence in problem solving, communicating, creating and collaborating to become effective leaders and contributing members of our society. Help us nurture the growth of our future leaders by donating to our fourth grade classes.
