This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My scholars consist of a wide range of personalities that all have one thing in common, the eagerness to grow as scholars. With your support of my project, I will be able to provide my scholars with resources for success and to be physically active.

My goal is to help scholars find a life long physical activity they can enjoy.

My scholars are growing up in a low income area that does not predict their educational trajectory. My scholars will work hard to get smart, have fun, and will be college ready! They are researchers, mathematicians, scientists, authors, historians, etc. My students are the future of Dallas and members of our future society. Every day, they come ready to refine their motor skills and eager to learn about their body.

My Project

My scholars are in need of physical education equipment to play with. Every day in class they play with damaged equipment, but it doesn’t stop them.

My scholars make something out of nothing.

Which shows that my scholars enjoy physical education even without the proper equipment. With your help my scholars would be able to play with these new frisbees in fun creative games throughout the year. I am also asking for the relay baton because my scholars are in love with racing each other so this will excitement them. Overall I want to provide my scholars with new equipment they have never used before. I want to provide my scholars the opportunities that they never had before.
