This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The fourth-grade students at our school this year are a busy, inquisitive group eager to learn! They love hands-on, engaging activities that allow them to work and be successful independently. They want to prove how clever they are and all the things they are now able to do by themselves.

We are so eager to develop and support successful, independent learners.

They are so excited about learning and so self-driven to discover. They are bright, excited, inquisitive, and kind. Unfortunately, many of them come from very low-income homes and typically come into my classroom without the same experiences and advantages as other students. Despite the odds, they are working extremely hard and excelling at so much! Every day, I am impressed and delighted by these people that are growing in my classroom.

My Project

Our students have grown so much in their independent thinking, working, and self-selection for learning. They are now limited by their access to printers to help get their work from the digital to the real world.

Donating to this project helps our entire grade level of students to see their work, ideas, and creations in their hands.

It gives the students the real concrete version of what they have done-not days later and in black and white- but immediately, in color, just as they have imagined. It gives truly tangible, touchable value to what they've created.
