This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When students come into my classroom, they are eager and excited to learn new ways of creative thinking and visual communication! Printmaking has always been an art form used to communicate a message with both image and text on the same page.
As an environmental justice school, students are motivated to create works of art that are both aesthetically pleasing and informative!
Our students have high standards for their work and the quality of their education and want to explore new and exciting ways to produce works of art!
With a printing press and additional drying rack, students will be able to create relief prints, monoprints etchings and more! They will be able to build a diverse body of work, build portfolio's for college and share work that they are proud of.
