This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The race is still on! We are dealing with the aftermath of the pandemic that hit our country nearly three and a half years ago. I have listed supplies that will help continue to support my classroom. Sanitizing wipes, basic school supplies, and learning charts will help had substance to our clean learning environment. During the pandemic, a lot of supplies were quickly depleted. Your support will replenish our cabinets.
Little hands using the Tie-Up Shoe Practicing tool will develop fine motor skills that our young scholars need to nurture.
Writing skills are taught daily in my classroom, and dry-erase markers are used quite often throughout our routine. Your kind donation will ensure that we are stocked for the 2023-2024 school year. Our young scholars enjoy the writing center, so having thick pencils and crayons will help develop their finger grip.
It is surprising how much cardstock and construction paper we use and how quickly the stack runs low in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom. The goal is to have supplies to keep our learning ahead of the time we lost.
I am thankful for your time and support. I hope you have a wonderful autumn season.
