In Person Learning: COVID Style

My Students

Hello! I am a literacy coach who is being repurposed this year to teach 13 first graders, while remaining socially distant. Since I am an additional classroom, I am building the classroom from scratch.

With limited funds and time, I am working against the clock to make the first day of school memorable, engaging, and fun.

I will need some unique tech tools and other resources to make this possible and I need your help.

My Project

Since students need to be socially distant, having a yoga mat and floor chair (stadium seat) will give each child the option to sit somewhere besides their seat all day. It will be important to be able to move and wiggle in our six foot boxes.

Having a document camera to project books and student work will help us all feel connected even though we can't gather together in a traditional setting.

I am hoping you can help me to create a sound, stable, and inspiring environment for these young learners.
