In Our Element Art Project

My Project

As an 8th grade teacher, my students learn the beginning foundations of chemistry. I would love for them to leave their mark behind in a hallway display using mini canvas boards to create the periodic table. Students will pick an element to research and create a canvas with the atomic number, atomic mass, element symbol, and examples of how the element is used or what it looks like.

Students will bring science and art together as they create a personalized periodic table for our science wing.

This will be an end of the year project for my students to review the periodic table and how it is organized.
