In Need of Supplies For Our Culminating Project

My students need model magic in order for them to create penguin models a culminating task to our penguin research unit. Students also need new name tags for pair work.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students learn best when they take ownership for their learning and can create.

I teach a group of 25 students who have a love for learning.

My students are eager learners who crave opportunities to demonstrate their learnings in non-traditional formats such as creating models. My students are in a school where majority of the students receive free or reduced lunch. We are in a high need school but the passion for learning that my students have is indescribable.

My Project

With the model magic my students will be able to create small scale penguins and create a habitat for their penguins. My students will be able to demonstrate all of their learnings from the unit in a fun and creative way. With the name tags I will be able to label my students desks so that they can work in a partnership and know exactly where to sit when creating their models.

Ultimately, any and all donations to our project will give the kindergarten students the opportunity to creatively represent their learnings.
