My Project
We would like to provide fun, intriguing, and problem-solving materials for our children. Our classroom this year is full of children who love to build and are working on becoming a community as they learn social/emotional skills. These materials will help them learn how to work together doing what they love to do most.
STEAM investigations will spark creativity, encourage collaboration, and help our current and future students develop problem-solving skills they can utilize in the real world.
The students can look closer at the world around them with a telescope and dive into balance and architecture through building with Keva blocks, stacking rocks, Playstix, building blocks, and the STEM Sensory Game. The Engineer-a-Coaster will allow them to discover cause and effect as they manipulate the materials to make the balls roll at different speeds and directions. The magnetic aliens and magnetic blocks will allow the children to play with and discover how magnets work in a new and fun way. Lastly, the See It Grow Plant Lab will allow the children to get a deeper understanding of how our classroom plants grow by giving them a closer look at what happens below the dirt.
With everything organized in our baskets, all we need is a little help from you to acquire what we need! We know our children will benefit greatly from these hands-on materials that foster both teamwork and creativity.
