My Students
My students are fourth-graders who are very enthusiastic learners! Between both of my classes, I have 35 students who are all hardworking, passionate, respectful and responsible. We work as a team to accomplish our learning expectations while having fun in the classroom.
My students are growing and learning in a wonderful community that supports their education, and my job is to make sure their learning experience is a positive one.
Our school district provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment for students to thrive in. As a result, our school is consistently one of the top-performing schools in the district every year. My goal as a teacher is to help my students be the best they can be while also preparing them for a successful future.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of a few items to complete our new room in our brand new building. A Zenergy Ball Chair will add more comfortable seat choices in our flexible seating classroom. Every morning we have a morning meeting and build our social and emotional learning (SEL) skills, teaching students to recognize and manage emotions, establish and maintain positive relationships, handle challenges effectively, etc. Having some books and activities would support that SEL instruction and would benefit students as they practice important life skills. Additionally, adding more STEM activities and materials to our collection would support our implementation of STEM activities in class (and in our new STEM lab!)
Having these materials would support ALL aspects of learning: academic, social and emotional, which are all very essential to the well-being of my students.
