My Students
My students are in a Title I school, which is in need of good furniture! The current trend in education is flexible seating and the results have been positive. I'd like for my students to have the ability to choose what type of seating makes them most comfortable. My students are in a small class setting due to disability classification and this ensures they receive proper support to attain their individual goals. They are a bunch of great kids who only want to do the best they can!
My Project
Flex seating will allow my students to have an option to pick a comfortable seating style that will allow them to succeed to the best of their ability. The classic setup in the classroom is uncomfortable at times and they should have the ability to be comfortable to maximize their learning potential.
With these bean bag chairs, they will be allowed to read independently, work with partners and even be at ease during a teacher modeled lesson.
With the ability to move these chairs, the students will also be allowed to move to a comfortable area in the room, to avoid as many distractions as possible.
