This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have an exceptional group of students. I say this since these students have been capable of showing masters in their 3rd grade STAAR test, and continue to drive for success in the classroom. Their motivation for wanting to learn more and continue to build upon their knowledge always surprises me. These students are leaders on the campus; they take action both individually and as a group to show exemplars of what a great classroom should be like. They do many things without being asked and show their best at all times.
From participating in class to being engaged in their learning, I have never seen such a group that works as a team.
They surprise me every day with the amount of respect they have for one another and their commitment to strive for greatness. They are problem-solvers, thinkers, authors, scientists, mathematicians, and explorers. They do not fear to be wrong; instead, they look for answers. They are not afraid to ask questions or to look for information to clarify their doubts. They are much more than classroom friends; they are a family to each other.
My Project
Hello my name is Ms.Chapa and a couple of months back my personal and work laptop got stolen. I never thought that would have ever happen, especially since I always carry everything with me. As a teacher sometimes we forget things from exhaustion and wanting to provide our students with the best engaging and fun lessons that will help grow their minds, and end up messing up by leaving the most priced possessions in a car. A laptop is the best way to create lessons and to research , and keep us updated on our students progress. Without it we can not do anything that will put our students on top. I usually do not ask for personal help but they are a large expense and getting help from anyone will help a lot! I really hope to keep creating engaging lessons and opportunities for my students to help them master their full learning potential. I love my students and having this help will tremendously help through out my entire teaching career.
