Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a classroom of Special Education, sixth through eighth grade students with learning disabilities and a variety of needs. Students come to me for support that include writing, social/emotional, and personal needs. Students continue to need support after the impact of Covid-19 in all of these areas. Lack of in person learning has impacted their learning skills. The writing tools, hygiene items and flexible seating supplies, will promote a love for writing and a clean classroom for students to combat sicknesses.

These workbooks, supplies, and incentives will also encourage effort and promote a love of learning.

The art and classroom supplies will ensure partner and group work occurs! Thanks for considering our classroom. Our students are lucky to have your support!
