it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a fourth-year early childhood special education teacher in a preschool collaborative classroom. My students are young learners with various abilities. They thrive on active, hands-on, engaging activities that challenge them to think. My young scholars come to school with excitement and are ready to grow both academically and personally. My students are such a joy to teach!
I am determined to challenge my students on a daily basis while making it enjoyable.
My Project
My students' individualized education plan (IEP) is vital to their progress, as it helps each student meet specialized goals for school and life success. Boardmaker is a complete special education platform that supports education, communication, access, and social-emotional needs for students in special education.
Boardmaker allows every student to succeed at their own pace, and on their own unique path, supporting their communication needs.
Materials and symbols from Boardmaker can be used in school and created for at-home use. By donating to this project, you will continue to give my students an outlet of communicative and expressive means that most people take for granted!
