Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a classroom of Special Education 6th - 8th grade students with learning disabilities and a variety of needs. Students come to me for supports that include writing, reading, math, social/emotional and personal needs. Students continue to need support after the impact of COVID - 19 in all of these areas. Lack of in person learning has impacted their learning skills. The workbooks, headphones, and cleaning supplies will promote a clean classroom to combat sicknesses.
The materials on my list will ensure academic growth.
These workbooks, supplies, and incentives will also encourage effort and promote a love of learning. The art and classroom supplies will ensure partner and group work! Thanks for considering our classroom, our students are lucky to have your support!
