My Project

I love how social and creative my students are! Since Covid I have seen an increase in the need for children to be engaged with one another. I would love for them the have things that help them put that energy towards their creativity and social skills. There's no better time for them to do this other than recess.

When the weather is bad we can't sing in the rain, skip in the slush, swing with a friend or skate on the ice.

You might wonder, then what? We have inside recess! As a teacher I try to plan for these particular days. Most kids want to play on the laptops. I feel like they need to let out their social and creative side with a soft place to sit and fun games or manipulatives to play with. The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help them do just that! They need to be challenged! So what better way for them to do just that by playing a game or building the highest tower with some friends during inside recess. These items will help me to provide my students with a fun and engaging way to socialize!
