My Students
My students are a diverse group who strive to learn more about science and technology. My students love hands-on activities and work well in groups together coming up with ideas, bouncing processes off each other, and putting designs together.
They are eager to get their hands on the tools and equipment so that they can test their designs and theories.
Many are seeking further education in the STEM field, while others wish to take their knowledge and pursue a place in the workforce.
My Project
My students already invent on CAD software. They show their skills in the drawings they make. With these materials they can make their drawings and sketches come to life. Enabling them to print their projects will allow them to check their designs in a real life setting and show them the actual 3-D scale. This will build self confidence when their measurements are precise, thus for enhancing the academic achievement for each of my 140 students!
Donating towards these items will not only allow you to help draw in the student's focus and attention, it will also push them towards the future, holding a tighter grasp on some 21st century skills.
Being able to print the CAD drawings will provide a strong reach for attention and focus. Imagine the looks on the students faces as they watch their hard work appear before their eyes, a touchable, realistic, 3-D printed object.
This printer will provide a tool that draws in attention for new and upcoming engineering students as well as students who like to do hands-on projects. I feel that this will be very positive for my students!
