Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our project is about equipping our competitive esports team with the gaming laptops we need to practice, compete, and grow together as a team. These laptops will provide the opportunity for students to participate in newer titles but also give them performance and reliability necessary for our students to participate in official matches, develop strategic thinking, and represent our school with pride in the world of competitive gaming.
What I love most about my students is their passion, teamwork, and dedication.
Our esports team is made up of students who come from diverse backgrounds but share a common drive to improve and support one another. They stay after school, strategize together, and treat each match and practice as a learning opportunity. With access to gaming laptops, these students will not only be able to compete at a higher level, but also access to titles they may not have previously played before. Not only will this expand their horizons, but they'll also build valuable skills in communication, leadership, and technology. These resources will give them the chance to shine in an environment where their talents and interests are celebrated and supported.
