This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the pleasure of working in the BEST school in our country. This year I have 18 beautiful Pre-K students. My students are creative, eager to learn and full of excitement. They love hands-on activities that engage their creativity and quest for knowledge. They work hard every day to meet expectations, and they meet the challenge because of their passion and interest to learn about how and why things are. They have inspired me to go beyond any limits. My students are eager to take reading and math to the next level by integrating technology and literacy into their classroom centers!
My Project
My preschool students are in need of a few items for their dramatic play center and two chairs for the writing and library area. Currently we have two baby dolls that are quite old and dress-up costumes that are missing pieces or worn out.
I know that having new baby dolls to represent multi-cultures along with a few pieces of dress up clothing for both the students and the dolls will encourage students to engage in those centers more often.
In addition to the dramatic play items I am also asking for two floor chairs for my students to sit in while they write or read books.
