Improving Online Technology and Access to Resources

My Students

I teach at an International Baccalaureate K-4 school in Phoenix, Arizona. My second grade students are global-minded, inquiring students who are engaged in the learning process. My students love to ask questions and find answers. They are learning to take action to make a difference in the community. They love hands on learning experiences, researching about new topics, and reading books!

My Project

My students have been learning online since the beginning of the school year. I have discovered a need for improved technology to teach my students and access to digital resources for my students.

New technology for teaching and access to resources will allow my students to reach new heights in their learning and increase engagement in the online platform.

Digital access to online magazines like Time for Kids and Scholastic Magazines as well as online reading and math programs will provide opportunities to develop inquiry and wonder in my students. Improved technology for my online teaching will allow for excellence in presentations and teaching strategies.
