My Students
My students are a diverse group of students who have elected to transfer into our high school. They choose to be in a setting focused on inquiry and diversity. Supporting my students in rediscovering their love for learning math, science and other subjects is one of my favorite things about teaching them!
My Project
With the recent switch back to fully remote in NYC, I need a second monitor so I can see students through video conferencing software as well as the lesson at play. The HDMI to USB-C cable will allow me to connect the monitor to my laptops. I also do a lot of database work for my school, and having a second monitor will make me more efficient in this realm.
The monitor alone will make a significant difference in my ability to be efficient.
However, having additional noise-cancelling headphones will be crucial to hearing my students and colleagues in our various classes and online meetings, especially given environmental noises that I have at home. The drawing tablet will significantly improve my ability to explain and demonstrate mathematics online. Thank you for supporting math learning at Urban Academy!
