My Project
My students deserve access to tools that foster both their physical development and cognitive growth. Fine and gross motor skills are foundational to their independence, academic performance, and overall confidence. Yet, these crucial skills often require intentional, engaging, and hands-on opportunities to truly develop.
By incorporating drones and LEGOs into my classroom, I can give my students a unique, exciting way to practice and strengthen these motor skills.
Assembling LEGO models promotes fine motor precision, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving. Meanwhile, piloting drones challenges students to refine their gross motor abilities, spatial awareness, and control in a real-time environment. These activities are not just fun—they’re therapeutic, skill-building tools that encourage collaboration, creativity, and focus.
Providing these resources isn’t just about technology or toys—it’s about empowering my students with the skills they need to thrive, both in and out of the classroom. Investing in drones and LEGOs is investing in their growth, their potential, and their future.
