Improving Math Fluency With Hands-On Opportunities

Help me give my students in math intervention hands-on and game based ways to improve their math fluency.

My Project

Students in our school have shown a decline in math fluency since COVID-19. Math has become a major area of improvement focus in our building. I am developing a math intervention program for our school and am in need of engaging resources that will help fill the math gaps our students have.

The games and manipulatives requested will help students build fluency in a manner that is different than their in-class instruction.

The Lakeshore Write and Wipe boards will make writing and converting decimals without having to draw the place value chart each time. The Lakeshore Splash games with help students practice their math facts. This fun approach to math will motivate students to engage in the content where they have a need.
