My Students

Coming from some of the toughest neighborhoods in NYC, our students are often judged by the community around them. As individuals with Emotional Disturbances and/or learning disabilities, our students need a therapeutic learning environment that engages them in their own personal learning styles.

Eager to come to school every day, our students heavily rely on the support they get from their peers and staff at school.

In order to keep my students coming to school, it is important that we take care of the learning environment and prevent the spread of germs. Rather than creating an environment for germs to grow, I want to provide my students with a classroom that eliminates germs and provides them with the structure they need for social, emotional, behavioral and academic growth.

My Project

Every single year as the school year progresses, germs become a problem within our school, and even in our classroom. Coming from some of the toughest neighborhoods and even housing situations in New York City, our students rely on being able to attend school on a regular basis. Rather than letting my students become sick, it is important to provide them with a classroom that is clean and is also an environment for growth on all levels.

With these assorted cleaning supplies like disinfecting wipes, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, and all-purpose cleaners, it will allow my classroom to get a deep, germ-busting clean that will benefit all my students.

Together, we can provide my students with a classroom that provides all the academic support, while also providing them with a learning environment that protects their sometimes fragile immunity. Every bit helps!
