This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 20 wonderful, caring, intelligent, fun, and excited students in my class this school year. Our school is located in an urban environment and is the heart of the neighborhood. Most of my students come from households of working families which calls for students to have to assist their parents in various ways. My students have learned to very caring, selfless and responsible at such a young age. I will always try to create unique in-class opportunities for their personal experiences that help them grow as successful students.
My Project
E-Learning has been pushed to the forefront of our education system in the midst of the global pandemic. Teachers had to pivot from in-person instruction, standing in front of a classroom to delivering online instruction in front of a camera where engagement is the bottom line.
We never had an opportunity to be properly trained on this new mode of teaching.
However, we see that it is now what students are accustomed to and is the new standard. These books will help me as I progress into implementing technology into the classroom and my instruction.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
