My Students
I am opening a new classroom at our center this school year! My classroom consists of enthusiastic and curious young learners with active imaginations and kind hearts. Some of the children are English language learners while encountering their first classroom setting. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my students, focusing on literacy and language development. As a class, the foundation for learning is set through small group literacy, art, mathematics, and science activities, while balancing the school day with social-emotional problem-solving and self-help practices. My Project
We need dramatic play and art materials for our new classroom. Please help us to use our imaginations as we engage in dynamic storytelling, creativity and expression. We hope to use dress up clothes and a dollhouse as we explore connection, diversity and interacting with one another through play scenarios.
Moreover, the dramatic play center provides opportunities for the children to share, collaborate and build relationships.
Drama and role-playing strengthen language skills and communication while children act and support one another's ideas and creativity. Painting and process art build fine motor strength, language and sensory experiences as well. We thank you for contributing to our learning!
