This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic and curious about the world. They come to school eager, ready to learn and meet challenges head on. Their growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning is contagious, as they inspire me to challenge them and empower them with the skills they need to prepare them for the multi-cultural 21st century. They live in a low-income neighborhood, with a high Hispanic population and to most, English is their second language. One hundred percent of them qualify for free lunch.

My Project

My students have read about 3D printing and are curious to see what it is like. Having these pens in our classroom will definitely get their creativity going. They will use these pens to create models in Science and Math.

Creating three dimensional items is not new to our world, but my students have never experienced it.

They will be enthusiastic and willing to try something new to present what they have learned about, in a creative hands-on way using these 3Doodler pens. Providing my students this opportunity will enhance their learning and motivate them to expand their knowledge in a fun way.
