My students need new leveled books!! we are in need of a new classroom library! we have started a new guided reading program and we are in need of some new books!
I have an amazing class of eighteen active and ambitious first graders who come from very diverse backgrounds. My students are always eager to learn and love coming to school. I feel we have had a tight bond and we are like family! We are always learning to be kind and compassionate learners! We work hard and get a lot of things accomplished during our day! They are very active so it helps to include lots of movement throughout the day!
My Project
These books will help me be able to differentiate during my small group reading instruction! I need a wide range of books because my students have a wide range of academic needs. I need simple picture books for my lower readers and advanced books for my strong readers! The audio books will be wonderful for a reading center! Being able to hear a fluent reader helps build strong readers and I feel my classroom will be very happy to have new reading materials! They will love the variety of books and be eager to read them and listen to them!
