My Students
Imagine trying to teach 25 kindergarten students who all come from different backgrounds and experiences. In my years of teaching, I have learned to laugh and enjoy every minute of my day!
My students are fun, expressive children who come from all types of social and economic backgrounds.
They love games and anything that allows them to move. We are the only section of full day kindergarten at our school, so I have the opportunity to expand their academics by planning more in-depth activities.
My Project
Our class has collected materials for a variety of dramatic play themes over the last few years. This shelf could be used as a hostess stand for any of our restaurant themes, a farmers market during our farm theme, a holiday bakery in December, or even the entrance gate to a pretend zoo! The white board also provides opportunities for my children to write & sound out thematic words, add or subtract when pretending to buy something, and to keep track of money in the cash register.
We need this versatile Create-It-Station to help organize our materials during our imagination station learning time.
The key to ensuring they are engaged in a particular theme is organization. This simple yet sturdy shelf would be a perfect solution! I love providing hands-on activities that encourage real-life experiences for my young students. The possibilities are truly endless with this Create-It-Station!!
