Imagination Read And Play Part 2

Help me give my students two new themes to help make their reading interventions fun, engaging, and creative!

My Project

Many of my Learning Support students come into my room to get reading interventions to help close the gap. I've found if they are having fun, their confidence will go up which will help their learning.

We are looking to bring a Hawaiian and a painter theme to our reading interventions.

These themes will allow students to use new props and be excited not knowing which theme it will be each day. This project will help students to look forward to reading which is important as many of them do not enjoy practicing since it may be difficult for them. These new themes will help make it fun and engaging for them while encouraging them to learn, work hard, and do their best.

The Hawaiian theme will also help our reading intervention to be cross curricular. It will allow us to have the opportunity to learn more about Hawaii, their climate, as well as their culture.
