Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Being able to provide my students with a variety of manipulatives and activities to spark their love of learning through building and creating will create the space for them to learn through play. For example, the Picasso tiles and building blocks of different shapes, sizes, and colors will help to inspire the creativity students need to take chances by experimenting and by trying new things to push their growing abilities. My students are currently learning how to share, take turns and most importantly be a part of a team. They are learning to support each other and work together to accomplish a goal. Being able to provide them with STEM items and activities will allow me to continue to provide them with the opportunity to learn and grow together.
