My Students
The students in my class are filled with energy and eagerness to change the world. They absolutely love challenges that allow them to use their creativity, engage in hands-on activities, and share their thinking with each other.
My students are leaders and problem-solvers; they have diverse abilities, personalities, talents.
We lift each other up and want to create the best learning experience for one another. My students are inspirations to their families, to themselves, and to their peers. I hope to create a classroom community that allows my students to believe that they can change the world.
My Project
I am requesting the opportunity to attend the Get Your Teach On national four-day conference for professional development in Dallas, Texas, June 30-July 3, 2019. This conference will allow me to gain new strategies and skills for teaching my students. I am confident that this conference will help me become an even more effective, enthusiastic, and intentional educator.
The knowledge gained from this unique opportunity will immensely impact the growth of my students and myself and help me create a more meaningful learning experience for our classroom community.
This conference will allow me to add more strategies to my toolbox for helping students increase their curiosity for the world, critical thinking skills, and appreciation for the learning journey.
