This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a first year teacher, I've learned how printers are crucial in the classroom! At our school, we departmentalize starting 2nd grade, so I have more students to teach in one day than the usual. This means that I need to print A LOT to make sure all of my students receive what they need, especially being an ELA teacher! Teachers share printers at our school, but sometimes they are not available or have technical issues. I've been finding creative ways to reduce printing, but I would be able to do so much more with a printer that I can access freely. Please invest in a printer for our classroom; it will bolster efficiency and will ensure that my students receive what they need every day!
